Produced in association with the Open University's BLAST! Project,
Andrew Denyer of Cyclops joined
Phil Bradfield, an Associate Lecturer with
the OU, and Emily Unell of the BLAST!
Project team, to record their experiences and some
fascinating facts about a six mile walk along the Devon
coast at Slapton Sands.

Items of interest include the unique ecology
of the area, a wide and varied history including
Operation Tiger (the US Army's rehearsal
for the D-Day landings) and a village getting swept into the
sea, and noting how the coastal villages, and their inhabitants
have been changing recently!
Listen to example - "Stop
2"

It is hoped that this is the first in a
series of walking podcasts that will include other areas of
interests across the UK.
